Irani Chai in South Plainfield, NJ
Thick, creamy and slow-simmered, Irani chai is as much a part of Hyderabad as the Charminar. We brew it the Hyderabadi way for everyone who walks through our doors.

What is Irani chai?
Irani chai came to Hyderabad with Persian cafe owners and became the city's own. It is richer and creamier than a typical masala chai, with a deep, malty flavor that comes from patient, slow simmering rather than extra spice.
In Hyderabad it is a pause before the day starts and a reason to sit with friends. That is the feeling we wanted to bring to New Jersey.
How we serve it
We brew our Irani chai the Hyderabadi way: slow, patient and precise. It is the perfect match for a plate of Mysore Bonda, an idly or a crisp dosa, and just as good after a biryani.
