A good dosa is all about the batter and the griddle. Ours is a fermented rice and lentil batter spread thin and cooked until golden, then served hot with sambar and chutneys.
Go classic with a Plain, Ghee or Masala Dosa, turn up the heat with the Karam Dosa, or try a Hyderabadi favorite: the Begum Bazar Butter Paneer Dosa. Egg, Chicken Keema, Cheese and Pizza dosas round out the list.
Idly, bonda and uthappam
Not in a dosa mood? Our idlies come plain, soaked in sambar, tawa-tossed, butter-tossed Begum Bazar style, or with paya. Mysore Bonda makes a great side, and uthappams are the thick, soft option with crispy edges.
On weekends we add Keema Kichidi, and pooris come with korma, chicken or mutton curry.
